Alright Peeps,
Listen up and K-Dog will tell you a story. Just Kidding.
This is a program that lets you edit your final fantasy tactics dex-drive saves or final fantasy tactics files in .gme format. Once you download the program a window will appear that says something to the effect of Unzip and Close options. This is not the real editor. If you have a computer like mine you should perform a search for file and folders and type in-“C:\WINDOWS\TEMP” or whatever the case may be and look for a file called fftedit.exe. And that’s enough babbling-on with the show: here are the features:
Jobs
The most useful and entertaining feature of this program, which allows you to change your job into anything you want. Most importantly, the ones you can’t get normally (i.e. Sorcerer, Arc Knight, Astrologist, etc.) To do this you can either:
A. Create a character from scratch naming him or her whatever you want, or
B. Modify one of your other characters into jobs that you wish for them to have
Character Set
This is basically the little picture you will see when you check your stats (figures that appear in battle)(the little clay looking thing that walks around). It is to best to match it with the job you wish to have (if not normal job- knight, monk, wizard), but if you don’t know what classes go to what jobs, but if you are like me just don’t care you can pick whatever you want.
Class
Pretty self - explanatory; change the jobs of your characters. This effects the primary abilities of your character.
Job
You can change that amount of JP you have in any class and/or max any or all of the classes.
Brave/Faith/Level/Experience
Same as in game - lets you alter them… For those of u who don’t know [God
knows why] they are ahem…..
Brave-effects how often you counter ability will work (i.e. if you have 80
brave and “Dragon Spirit,” you will cast reraise on yourself 80 percent of the
time you are supposed to counter. Also, effects item finding-people who have
move-find item [There are 2 items in every square that contains items a good one
and a bad one] The percent is directly related to your brave.(if your brave is
10-you only have ten percent chance of finding the bad item-if its 90 brave u
have a 90 percent chance of finding the bad item. so obviously you want lower
brave for item finders and higher brave for everyone else.
Faith-how effective magic attack will be-higher means better magic.
Level-like in all Rpgs the higher level the more strength, hp, mp, ect you will have
Exp-you gain from doing effective actions in battle when you get 100 exp you level up.
Physical and Magic Attack/Speed/Hp/Mp Base
The base of your stats-this determines how much stat growth you get when you level up(along with other things) you will see a major difference if you change a member of your parties stats. Note: The higher level you get the more effective and noticeable the changes in the bases of your stats will make your character.
Character
Changes which character you are
editing-if you are making a character from scratch make sure to check the enable
character box.
Slot
Changes which .gme file the system is reading
Money
Changes how much cash you have in your game.
Equipment
This is where you can change your equipment not much more to say here.
